Word Frequency Counter

Most-used words & counts.

Runs entirely in your browser — nothing you enter is uploaded, logged, or tracked.

Paste your text to see every word ranked by how often it appears, with its count and percentage — optionally ignoring common stop words (“the”, “and”…) and merging capitalisation. Useful for checking keyword density or spotting overused words in your writing.

Frequently asked questions

What are stop words?

Extremely common words (the, a, and, of…) that usually aren’t meaningful for analysis. Toggle them off to focus on the words that carry meaning.

Does it count phrases?

It counts single words. Punctuation is stripped and, optionally, capitalisation is folded so “The” and “the” count together.

Is my text uploaded?

No — all counting happens in your browser.
