How is GPA calculated?
Each grade maps to grade points (A = 4.0, B = 3.0, …), multiplied by the course’s credit hours; the GPA is the total grade points divided by the total credits.
What does weighted mode do?
It adds points for harder classes — typically +0.5 for honors and +1.0 for AP/IB — so a GPA above 4.0 is possible. Toggle it to match your school’s convention.
