Audio Trimmer

Trim & cut audio in your browser.

Runs entirely in your browser — nothing you enter is uploaded, logged, or tracked.

Drop in an audio file (MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG…) to see its waveform, drag the start and end handles to select the part you want, preview it, and export just that selection as a WAV — all without uploading the file anywhere. Great for ringtones, clips and samples.

Frequently asked questions

Is my audio uploaded to trim it?

No. The file is decoded and trimmed in your browser with the Web Audio API; it never leaves your device.

What formats can I open?

Any format your browser can decode — typically MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, OGG and FLAC. The trimmed clip is exported as a WAV.

Why export as WAV?

WAV needs no extra encoder, so the export is lossless and instant in the browser. You can convert the WAV to MP3 afterward if you need a smaller file.

Is there a length limit?

Very long files use more memory since the audio is fully decoded. Typical songs and clips are fast; extremely long recordings may be slow on low-memory devices.
