The Software

RVNT is open source software distributed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0). You are free to use, modify, and distribute the software in accordance with the license terms. The full license text is available in the source repository.

No Warranty

RVNT is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the software is free of bugs, vulnerabilities, or errors. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Cryptographic software is difficult to build correctly. We do our best. You should verify our work.

Acceptable Use

Do not use RVNT to facilitate illegal activity. We build privacy tools because privacy is a fundamental right. Privacy is not a license to harm others. We are not responsible for how you use the software, but we ask that you use it ethically.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RVNT and its contributors shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use this software. This includes but is not limited to data loss, interception of communications, or failure of cryptographic protections.

Service Availability

We operate relay infrastructure on a best-effort basis. We may discontinue the service at any time. Because RVNT supports peer-to-peer and mesh communication, the software continues to function without our servers for direct connections.

Changes

We may update these terms. Changes will be published with a diff against the previous version. Continued use of the software constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
